Want to put larger-than-stock tires on 77 280Z 2+2.  Any other drivers
out there with wheel/tire combos that work well without modifying any
fenders?

Does anyone know the steps to program the remote, my dealer gave me 2
remotes but only one was programmed.

First of all, I’m a little pissed.  My Z won’t be in till around 9/11.  I
ordered it back in February.  Nissan promised delivery for early deposits of
"Late Summer".  It is Fall.  No doubt about it after Labor Day.  I had my
existing car sold and held off due to the delay.  Yeah, I know, I could’ve
and should’ve.  I don’t really need the dough though.  But, I have had to
replace belts and need to replace a newly ripped CV boot since Labor Day.  I
have also got lots of business mileage before and up to then.   I’d expect a
"private party" price for my vehicle from the dealer due to this.

Now comes the good part.  I contacted the GM at my (Z to be) dealership.  I
explained that I had heard of some concellation in situations like mine.  He
abruptly and angrily offered me my deposit back and said he could get
$10,000 above invoice for my car.  It seems his arogence and greed have hit.
Boy, you wait till the sale is over.  I hope he becomes a little more
"calmer and geltler" to a good customer.   I’m sure there will be a lot of
follow up on this sale from Nissan.

Any suggestions on how to handle this gorilla?  I stuck firm on wanting
something for the inconvenience and and said keep the deposit and notify me
immeditatly upon arrival of my Z and ended the call politely.  That probably
freaked him even more.

I can probably figure out my route of action, but:  Has anyone gotten any
special concellations for inconveniences or delays?  He said there were
absolutely none.  His dumb salesperson said they were paying off leases and
other things.   Should I contact Nissan corporate on my situation before or
after delivery?  They will hear one way or another.

Now the truth.  I bet he’s really pissed because I didn’t pay over invoice
and had many, many, extras thrown in.  The guy who actually sold me the car
don’t even work there anymore.  Maybe he got booted for accepting my deal.
Looks as though I’ll have another dealer servicing my Z after the warranty
unless they shape up quickly!

I’d love to hear from persons who have already received a new "Z".

Oh, I would demand a test drive before getting with the finance dude on the
paperwork upon delivery.  Is that appropriate or out of line?  I would think
it’s appropriate, just to make sure I get all promised before accepting
delivery.

I was thinking about making a post about selling a 300zx but wanted to see
if it was alright to make the post here.  I know some newsgroups don’t like
that kind of thing so I didn’t want to upset anyone.

I wonder where I can fin the coolant temperature sensor connector on a 300
ZX TT…is it the sensor to the right or left on the top aluminium pipe in
the front of the motor when you are standing in front of the car..?

I need NGK sparkle plugs named PFR6B-11B for my Nissan 300ZX TT 90-mod. The
car has been modified/upgraded by Jim Wolf and therefore I need these
"colder"sparkle plugs. But, in Norway I can just find NGK-plugs named
PFR6B-11….Can I use these…? And what do the character "B" mean, at the
end of the sparkle plug name
