A friend of mine mentioned that he saw an article on upgrading Z headlights
to H4s.  This article was supposed to describe how and where to cut in a
relay into the wiring harness so that you don’t get the huge current draw
through the headlight switch that you get when you try to use these
headlights without wiring modifications.  Unfortunately, he doesn’t remember
where he saw it…  Any ideas?

Dear NG,

It seems after I really push my car or drive for a long time I have this
strange gurgling sound after I shut off the engine, it sounds like it’s
coming from the exhaust near the "cat" area, but if I turn the engine back
on and let it idle for a couple of seconds then shut it off again it stops.
oh and I have a 1990 Non turbo 300ZX.

Hi all,

I have the opportunity to buy a VG30DETT for quite cheap ($200 USD), which
is ‘slightly damaged.’ I know alot of you will tell me it will be more
trouble than its worth to repair it but my VG30E doesn’t leave much room for
improvement due to its compression ratio. I was really just wondering if it
would fit in the engine bay of a 85 NA Z31. What are the steps and problems
involved in doing this sort of thing, regarding the fuel delivery system,
exhaust etc.

Hi,

I got a 85 300z form my sister.

When I push (kick) brake to slow down my car on the road,
the wheel steering alwasy shaking.

Can any one tell me what is the problem?

Also I hear cranking sound from wheels when I use brake to slow down.
Is it a brake disc problem?
