The whole housing came out and the bulb is inside this contraption. How do I
replace the burned out bulb?

I am looking to purchase the Wings west body kit, but the fiberglass
parts scare me. Fiber glass is very breakable. Any body else ever had
one???
I cannot see to get the front spoiler off the car(original spoiler).
Replacing with new wings west body kit. Do i have to take out the
headlights to get it off??
Was a 79 280Z available with aspirated carburetors or just fuel
injected?

I have an ’88 300 ZX and bought a ’82 – 50th Anniversary Limited Edition 300
ZX ( number 261) to get some parts I have the complete engine, tranny and
rear end intact and untouched. The engine is a 3000 cc, Turbo, V-6, with 5
speed manual tranny. The car had 110,000 Km’s, 65,000 MI. when it got hit
in the front and was taken off the road, there was no damage to the engine,
only the body. If interested in any or all the parts they are for sale
CHEAP!!! E-mail me at logrocket…@cablerocket.com
hello,
I am a volvo enthusiast and by circumstances I have a 280 zx for sale
it is an abandoned restauration project
car is partially stripped, but everything is supposed to be there
body is reasonable except for drivers side floorpanel which needs replacing
it’s a 1980 2 door, 6 cylinder 2800cc, black with tan interior
the owner wanted to reuse some parts (wheels – interior) and scrap the car!
I could convince him not to do so and save the car – he’s asking 500 euro
I’m looking for someone who wants to restore or use the parts – fast
the car is in Belgium
I’ve no connections in datsun world, thanks for forwarding this message to
people/clubs/newsgroups that might be interested
can send pix
tia

Currently working on the rear suspension of my ’73. Will replace all
the bushings, struts, etc. Already completed front.
Removed wheels, brake lines. Next step is the bolt connecting strut
to control arm. Has self-locking nuts at each end and positioning
bolt/nut in the middle.
Haynes manual says remove all three and bolt will come out either
side. It won’t. Not the right or left rear. Have a factory service
manual for a ’77, which is similar. It says the same thing, just pull
it out.
Anyway, after much ado, both sides sit with the bolt staying right
where it is. One side I managed to get it out about 1 inch.
I have considered pulling the control arm/strut as a complete pair,
but I’m not sure why the bolt is stuck. I had struts replaced about
seven years ago, so it must have been done then…
Any tips at this point would be very helpful. Would the best approach
be to heat it, use a slide hammer (don’t have one), or other…
Thanks in advance,
Guy
