I can’t get spark to my dist.plugs. etc.  to fire my engine up
it is a 1981 tubro 280zx. i have juce to my dist. i checked  it with my
meter and it shows voltage. every place it  needs to be,
car will trun over just fine but no fire. I am lost. been working on it for
days now. can somone pleas help me

I can’t get my 81  280zx turbo to fire up. no spark. has all the voltages it
need to acccording to the book , engine truns over just fine compression is
good etc. just no spark, checked coil, changed ,do not no where or what to
do next can anyone help me or ideas

        I have a 1993 280ZX – The radio works fine 40% of the time –
60% of the time it will shut off – antenna goes down and I can never
get to come back up. Has anyone else encountered this. I have tested
for shorts – starting to beleive it might be a capacitance
problem…..

MY 198 300ZX air conditioner works pretty good when the car is idling,
or moving at a constant speed.  However upon accelerating the air that
flows is hot, definitely coming from the heater. Have any of you had
this problem?  Thanks in advance for any help.

I’ve been reading through the posts and have seen some cars last as long as
105k miles without any changes to the timing system.

I’m contemplating purchasing the above car with 74k miles and wanted to
know:

1.  Is the timing belt/chain in need of replacement now or should it be held
off?
2.  How can I tell if it’s already been done?  Dealer doesn’t know squat
about it.
3.  Is it a belt or a chain?  I’m getting conflicting reports on this one.

Please advise.

 I have an early 74 260z coupe and need to replace the hand brake
cable (not all the way from the handle, just the cable that connects
the wheels cylinders to the equalizer). Anyone know what other years/
models have a cable that will replace it? Thanks in advance.

My high mileage 86 Turbo model and have been looking for front shocks.
The Tokigo’s no longer produce a nice ride.  
Anyone, where can I get suspension parts? – probably needs additional
things like balljoints and bushings, since I’ve put over 20,000 on since
discovering a bad left front shock.
BTW – I am in Wisconsin but have tried to keep on top of rust mites.  If
you want to do the work I Will sell this car (w leather + power
everything)

My 86 turbo started whining a few months ago.  It happened while the car
was developing an exhaust leak in front of the catalitic converter.  Any
guesses as to what is happening?
When I replace the exhaust system will it stop wining?  
Do I need to replace the turbo?
Can I just get new bearings?
BTW – Where can I get a good- complete aftermarket exhaust system?
Anyone – all advice would be appreciated.
