’96 non-turbo Z the check engine light came on at approx. 44,500 miles.
I’m really dealer-phobic. Anyone have any suggestions? The car appears

Hi All,
I have a 1990 300zx with day time running lights. They seem to work fine
for the first initial 20 minutes. However, after the car warms up one of
the headlights seems to turn off. I have checked all the bulbs and replaced
any that seemed to be suspicious. But this did not rectify the problem.
Once the car has cooled down I can turn it on again and the lights will work
fine, but again, once the car heats up one of the headlights turns off. If
I turn the lights on (night lights) then they work fine. If anybody has any
suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

I have an 86 Nissan 300 zx, I just got it haven’t put 100 miles on it
yet 131k miles. It starts right up idles real low 500-700 shakes and
wants to stall I gotta keep my foot on the gas . After I go a while it
runs fine.Well kinda I’m geting a tranny.
Any ideas???

I have a 94 UK 300ZX TT with the standard Clarion fit CD player and Radio
Casette. Has anyone around changed these for an aftermarket unit?
It seems that the rear speakers are controlled by a seperate Amp or
something? Anyone come across this? Best way to re-wire?
Also is there an easy way to convert the silly aerial plug to a standard
one?

I have an ’88 300ZX. It’s got a couple of problems – firstly the fuel
gauge only goes from 3/4 to 1/4 no lower or higher but it works between
these points. Secondly, my oil temprature gauge doesn’t work – any
ideas? Where is the sender situated? Finally, while driving it a few
days ago in heavy rain (guess what? I live in England) the car seemed to
have no traction while driving through water at about 60 mph. There
seems reasonable tread on the tyres – any thoughts?
